Recovery and Support Groups

In an effort to help those men who may be struggling with an addiction, the Men of Courage offer three recovery groups; alcohol addiction, drug addiction, and sexual integrity issues.  For more information about either group including meeting locations and times, contact Quinton Skyles (843-9346).

 Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a voluntary, worldwide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership.  Visit the website at www.alcoholics-anonymous.org.

 L.I.F.E. Group

L.I.F.E. (Living in Freedom Everyday) groups are recovery groups, not therapy. To help men become free of the bondage of inappropriate sexual behaviors, they incorporate spiritual disciplines, small group accountability, and prayer. Christ-centered and relationally oriented, these groups incorporate study of recovery materials, small-group accountability and on-going support through networking of lives on an effective level.  Visit the website at www.freedomeveryday.org.
