A meal is provided and served by KFJ children to any    Hixson Church of Christ member over the age of 70.  This event usually takes place around Valentine’s Day because we love to bring these two generations together. 

Easter Egg Hunt

Each year near Easter a small team host this fun event.  This is a fun to invite friends and family

At the beginning of each year, we recognize the babies born in he previous year to families in our congregation.  Every Mother’s Day we recognize the newest additions to our church family over the course of the past year.  A         short ceremony is planned to introduce the new baby to the congregation and for the parents and congregation to pledge their commitment to help raise these new babes in the ways of the Lord.  It is a very special and momentous occasion for these young families

Summer JAM

A few nights in the summer to offer a community outreach and learn more about God.  This year’s theme is Mission Impossible.  Click here for more info. (Coming Soon).

A time for children to celebrate their patriotic spirit by decorating their bicycles, scooters, and wagons for a parade around the parking lot.

We consider this our Fall outreach event, where everyone invites their friends and families to join us to play games and enjoy Trunk or Treat.
