Kids for Jesus (KFJ)

This group of 3rd through 5th graders meets every  Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Room 252.  This group  serves the following purposes:

-To learn about Jesus and to model his behavior by serving others and putting others ahead of ourselves.

-To serve our church family, our community, and our  country; and honor God in all that we do.

-To build and strengthen the spiritual and social bond among us.

We complete various service projects and have fun social events throughout the year.

Nursery

Located directly across from the auditorium doors, we provide a safe environment for infants 3 to 18 months old during both of the Sunday morning worship assemblies.  After signing in, each child’s parent receives a pager they need to return to the nursery area. A room for nursing mothers and a cry room is also available if needed.  Ready volunteers are present each week to provide this service.   Parents of children in this age group are asked to volunteer regularly as well.  These new babies are precious gifts from above and we desire to provide the best care we can.

Toddler Nursery

This area is available for 18 mo. to 2 ½ year olds, and is located directly across from the Women’s ministry board in room 159.  There is lots of room for play and exploration.

Wee Worship

During worship, children ages three, four, and five years olds are dismissed after communion for a worship time designed especially for them.  Each week volunteers prepares a time of worship and learning.  This area is located at the end of the multi-purpose room.
